I mentioned this to James in off-list email but as everyone
knows, the work/ideas developed around federated-fs have
been well received within the NFSv4 WG and by our
area advisor.  Brian and I have details to work through
for the charter update but that should not delay the
protocol definition, etc.  I suggested to James that the
current I-Ds be resubmitted at NFSv4 WG I-Ds.  This
means their names need to change to something like:
draft-ietf-nfsv4-
and will start at draft version "00".

Once they are submitted I will approve and we can move
the discussions over to the nfsv4 at ietf.org working group
alias.
